Dactylolabis
Dactylolabis is a genus of crane flies in the family Limoniidae. It is placed in its own subfamily, Dactylolabinae. In the classification hierarchy, it belongs to the kingdom Animalia, phylum Arthropoda, class Insecta, order Diptera, infraorder Tipulomorpha, and superfamily Tipuloidea. The genus was established by Osten Sacken in 1860, and its type species is Limnophila montana Osten Sacken, 1860 (now referred to as Dactylolabis montana). Dactylolabis has several subgenera: Bothrophorus, Coenolabis, Dactylolabis, and Eudactylolabis. It includes multiple species of crane flies.
