Brasa Futebol Clube
Brasa Futebol Clube Ltda was a Brazilian soccer club from Mirassol, São Paulo. It was founded on March 5, 2008, and dissolved in 2014. The club never played a competitive match before it folded and was mainly known for its ties to third‑party ownership, with Energy Sports as its backer.
In player deals, Brasa co-owned the player Diogo with Corinthians in 2008, giving Corinthians 50% of Diogo’s economic rights. Brasa bought Carlinhos from Santos in 2009. Energy Sports also obtained Marcos Aurélio from Santos in 2008 and later moved that contract to Brasa in 2009.
Brasa owned the registration rights for Emerson (2009), Felipe Soares (2009–10), Roger Gaúcho (2009) and Vinícius Bala (2009). In 2009, Benfica bought Patric from Brasa; as part of the deal, Brasa paid Benfica €300,000 per year for three years (2009–10 to 2011–12), and Patric left Benfica in 2011. Alan Soares moved from Brasa to Vitória de Sernache in 2009.
