Borve (Scottish Gaelic: Borgh) is a village on the west coast of the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. It lies in the parish of Barra along the island’s circular main road, the A888. Nearby are Neolithic remains, including a burial cairn and standing stones. In 1862, a rich Viking burial was found near Borve at Ardvouray; its contents are now in the British Museum, including oval brooches, a comb, drinking-horn fragments, a spear, a pair of shears, a weaving sword and a whetstone.
