Mount McMinn Station
Mount McMinn Station is a cattle station in the Northern Territory, Australia. It lies about 40 km east of Mataranka and 280 km southeast of Katherine, at the eastern end of the Savannah Way along the Roper River in the Roper Gulf Region. The property covers about 810 square kilometers and can carry 6,000 to 8,000 cattle. The Roper and Hodgson Rivers run through the land. The Cahill family, founders of Cahill Transport, bought Mount McMinn in 2005 from the Mackay family for A$3.55 million. In 2018, the Cahills put the property on the market when it was stocked with more than 3,000 Brahman cattle.
