Bones season 11
Bones Season 11 aired on Fox from October 1, 2015, to July 21, 2016, keeping Thursdays at 8:00 pm. Fox renewed the show on May 8, 2015. For season 11, Michael Peterson and Jonathan Collier became showrunners after Stephen Nathan stepped down, with Nathan planning to return later in the season. Randy Zisk joined as an executive producer and directing producer.
In July 2015, Bones announced a two-part crossover with Sleepy Hollow, airing October 29, 2015, featuring Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie. Filming began August 3, 2015. Kim Raver joined as FBI Special Agent Grace Miller and appears in the first two episodes. Betty White guest stars as forensic anthropologist Dr. Beth Mayer. In November 2015, Sara Rue was cast in a multi-episode arc as a behavioral analyst who works with Booth.
During the Sleepy Hollow crossover, the Jeffersonian team finds a headless corpse in a church on Halloween. The victim is 200 years old and connected to their current murder investigation about a medical student.
Season 11 was released on DVD in region 1 on January 3, 2017, in the “Death and Disappearance Edition,” which includes all 22 episodes plus deleted scenes and a gag reel.
