Bob Bower (Robert Lloyd Bower) was an Australian rugby league player born on 14 January 1925 in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales. He played as a prop and represented New South Wales in 1949, as well as NSW Country the same year. After his state appearances, he was offered a contract by the St George Dragons and joined them in 1950. He played four seasons with St George from 1950 to 1953, making 71 appearances and scoring 9 tries (27 points). His last game was the 1953 Grand Final, and he returned to country football in 1954. Bower passed away on 14 December 2004 in Stockton, New South Wales, aged 79, just shy of his 80th birthday.
