Blackmans Crossroads is a small, unincorporated community in Johnston County, North Carolina. It sits at the intersection of North Carolina Highway 96 and Stricklands Crossroads Road, east of Benson and south of Four Oaks. The crossroads is home to a few local places that share the name, including a fire department, a church, a cafe, a country store, and a community pool. The coordinates are about 35.6692°N, 78.3069°W. Spelling of the name varies, with Blackmans Crossroads, Blackman's Crossroads, and Blackmons Crossroads all used. In the past, the local fire department faced a financial improprieties case, and the fire chief was replaced.
