Miguel Laparra Navarro (born 1962 in Cher, France) is a Spanish sociologist and politician. He has a PhD in sociology. In July 2015, he became Vice President of the Government of Navarra and the councilor for Social Policy, Employment and Housing, appointed by the left-wing coalition Izquierda-Ezkerra. Before that, he led the CIPRAIIS research chair (Cátedra de Investigación para la Igualdad y la Integración Social) at the Public University of Navarra (UPNA). He has been a research fellow at the Warwick Institute of Employment Research and a lecturer at Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. He was Director of the UPNA Department of Social Work in 2007.
