Gus-class LCAC (Project 1205 Skat) was a medium assault hovercraft used by the Soviet Navy from 1969 to the early 1990s. Built between 1969 and 1974 by Primorsky Shipyard, Almaz, More, and Zelenodolsk, 32 units were completed and later scrapped. It’s a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) with a displacement of about 27 tons, length 21.4 m, and beam 7.8 m. Propulsion came from three gas turbines and two propellers, allowing speeds up to 60 knots. The craft could carry 25 assault troops with equipment and had a crew of 6, with no armament. Its range was about 230 nautical miles at 43 knots (and 185 nautical miles at 50 knots). It was succeeded in service by the Tsaplya and Lebed classes.
