Saca tarjeta roja al maltratador is a campaign against domestic violence started by the Spanish Ministry of Equality on 18 March 2010. It has support from many famous people. The aim is to show that violence has no place in society and to encourage everyone to reject abuse. People are asked to show a red card as a symbol against gender violence and to join the fight for justice. A series of TV spots were made to raise awareness, with professionals from different fields taking part for free, holding a red card and saying NO to aggression against women.
