Searching for Monica
Buscando a Mónica (Searching for Monica) is a 1962 black-and-white musical drama film from Argentina and Spain. It was directed by José María Forqué and stars Alberto de Mendoza and Carmen Sevilla. The music was by Augusto Algueró and Mário Clavel; cinematography by Ricardo Younis; and editing by Julio Peña and Gerardo Rinaldi. The film premiered on January 29, 1962 in Madrid, where it was released as El Secreto de Mónica, and it opened in Argentina on March 29, 1962 in Buenos Aires. It was distributed by AS Films and is in Spanish.
