Bangalore 560023 is a 2015 Kannada-language sports comedy film directed by Pradeep Raj. It is a remake of the Tamil film Chennai 600028 (2007). The cast includes Karthik Jayaram, Chandan Kumar, Dhruv Sharma, Chikkanna, Rajeev and Naveen Naidu, with Sanjjana and Shivani (Shivani making her acting debut). Produced by Puneeth B. P. and Manu, the movie features music by Arun Andrews. Set around street cricket in Bengaluru’s suburbs, it explores friendship, love and rivalry. The title comes from the Binnypete area pincode in Central Bengaluru, where the story takes place. The nine-track soundtrack mirrors the original Tamil tunes by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film released on 20 November 2015 and runs 141 minutes. It received mixed notices; Sunayana Suresh of The Times of India called it a decent one-time watch with good performances, though some casting choices could have been better.
