Bahrain Royal Medical Services
Bahrain Royal Medical Services (Arabic: الخدمات الطبية الملكية البحرينية), also known as Bahrain Defense Force Hospital, is a major military hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Located in Riffa, it has 400 beds and is the second-largest hospital in the country. The Bahrain Defence Force Hospitals Health System runs a large network of primary care clinics, an outpatient center, and a hospital, along with many specialty services, skilled nursing, geriatrics, behavioral health, rehabilitation, home care, managed care and insurance programs, and occupational health and wellness. About 4,000 physicians and staff work in the system. The hospital’s main mission is to provide health care for the Military and Interior forces, offer emergency services to the public, and deliver specialized care for referrals and government VIPs, with free health care provided for Bahraini military personnel.
