Elemag
Elemag, also known as Elinag Phrantzes, was the governor of Belegrada (modern Berat in Albania) for the First Bulgarian Empire in 1018, as Basil II completed the conquest of Bulgaria. He and his co-governors went to Stagoi to meet Basil II and submitted, surrendering his province. Basil II gave him the rank of patrikios and sent him to Thessalonica. Later he was accused of conspiring with patrikios Gabras to restore an independent Bulgarian realm. Gabras fled and was captured and blinded, while Elemag denied the accusations and kept his rank. He may be the Phrantzes who donated to the St. Panteleimon Monastery on Mount Athos. Elemag Reef on Livingston Island, Antarctica, is named after him.
