Babusapalya, also known as Babusahebpalya, is a suburb of Bengaluru in Karnataka, India. It’s famous for the 60-foot tall Lord Ganesha statue near the Outer Ring Road. The area is about 14 km from the Bangalore City railway station and about 5 km from KR Puram railway station.

Babusapalya is part of Horamavu Ward (Ward No. 25), which was the city’s most populated ward in Census 2011. The ward has grown quickly since then. In 2015, Radhamma of the INC won the BBMP elections as the corporator for this ward.

Politically, Babusapalya is in the Bangalore North Lok Sabha constituency. The area’s MLA has been B. A. Basavaraj, elected in 2013 and 2018. The current Member of Parliament for Bangalore North is Sadananda Gowda.

History notes that the village got its name from a 1940s businessman named Babu Saheba who settled here.
