Nikola Marković (painter)
Nikola Marković (Cyrillic: Никола Марковић; 1843, Požarevac – 1889, Belgrade) was a Serbian painter who mainly painted icons. In 1870 he joined the Serbian Learned Society (Srpsko učeno društvo, SUD), which later became the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He belonged to the Marković family of painters, along with Milija and his sons Radovan and Nikola, a family well known to art historians. Marković's iconostases can be seen in Knjazevac, Veliko Orasje, Grocka, and other places.
