Awhea River
Awhea River is a river in New Zealand’s Wairarapa region near the southern tip of the North Island. It rises in rough hills south of Martinborough and flows south for about 24 kilometres (15 miles) before emptying into the Pacific Ocean about 20 kilometres (12 miles) east of Cape Palliser.
