It Always Ends That Way (Italian: Finisce sempre così) is a 1939 Italian musical comedy directed by Enrique Susini. The screenplay was written by Darol Fischbacher and Gherardo Gherardi, based on a novel by Robert Dieudonné. The film stars Vittorio De Sica, Nedda Francy, Roberto Rey, and Noëlle Norman. It was produced by Walter Mocchi for Excelsa Film and distributed by Minerva Film. The running time is 68 minutes and the language is Italian. Filming took place at Cinecittà Studios in Rome, with sets designed by Salvo D'Angelo. The cinematography was by Arturo Gallea, and editing by Darol Fischbacher, with music by Ezio Carabella.
