Early life
Luisa Christine Geiselsöder was born on February 10, 2000, in Ansbach, Germany. She is tall for her position, standing about 1.93 meters (6 ft 4 in), and plays the center role.

Professional career
Geiselsöder began her professional career in Germany with BG Donau-Ries in 2015. She became a standout player there, and during the 2019–20 season she averaged strong numbers (about 18.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game).

In May 2025, she helped Basket Landes win the French Ligue Féminine de Basketball Championship.

WNBA
In the 2020 WNBA draft, Geiselsöder was picked 21st overall by the Dallas Wings. In 2021 she signed a training camp contract, but an injury prevented her from making the team and her contract was suspended. She was waived by the Wings in January 2022.

She re-signed with Dallas on a training camp contract in February 2025. She reported to the Wings’ training camp and made her WNBA debut on May 27, 2025, scoring a basket against the Connecticut Sun. She set a career high with 13 points in a game on June 13, 2025, against the Las Vegas Aces. She left the team briefly to represent Germany in the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket tournament in June 2025. An August shoulder injury sidelined her for the rest of the season. In 2025 she played 28 games, averaging 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. She led Dallas in rebounds six times and was one of the rookies who ranked in the top nine in several categories (steals, blocks, field-goal percentage, and rebounds).

National team career
Geiselsöder has played for Germany at several youth levels and with the senior national team. She won a silver medal with Germany’s under-16 team at the 2016 FIBA U16 European Championship, where she was named MVP. She earned a gold medal at the 2018 FIBA U18 European Championship. She also played in the 2019 competitions for Germany’s U20 and U19 teams, with solid scoring and rebounding averages. She made her debut for the German senior national team in November 2019.

Her elder sister Laura Geiselsöder is also a professional basketball player in Germany.
