Athletics at the 2004 Summer Paralympics – Men's marathon T11–13
Two marathon races for athletics were held on 26 September 2004 at the Athens Paralympics: Men’s marathon T11 and Men’s marathon T13.
Men’s marathon T11
- Description: for totally blind athletes running with a sighted guide.
- Competitors: 17 from 10 nations.
- Medalists: Gold — Yuichi Takahashi (Japan); Silver — Carlos Amaral Ferreira (Portugal); Bronze — Andrea Cionna (Italy).
- Notes: Ferreira, the defending champion and world record holder, finished about 30 seconds behind Takahashi. This event was the last time a separate T11 marathon was held; from 2008, T11 athletes joined the T12 marathon.
Men’s marathon T13
- Competitors: 19 from 14 nations.
- Medalists: Gold — Ildar Pomykalov (Russia); Silver — Roy Daniell (Australia); Bronze — Linas Balsys (Lithuania).
