Big Brother Canada 4: A quick, easy recap

Big Brother Canada 4 aired from March 2 to May 12, 2016 on Global. It ran 77 days with 17 houseguests and 32 episodes, making it the longest season at the time. The season was won by Nick & Phil Paquette, two brothers who competed as one HouseGuest and shared the prize; they beat Kelsey Faith in a 7–2 jury vote. Each brother earned $50,000, while Kelsey, the runner-up, received $20,000.

House and theme
The house used the same layout as the previous season but with a Luxury Hotel/Casino theme. Two bedrooms were named the Hundo Suite and the 19199 Suite. The Have-Not room resembled a Las Vegas chapel, and Marsha the Moose hid in the chapel altar. A High Roller room replaced the old vault.

Twists and notable players
- After the first eviction, four former international players competed in a Canada-wide vote for two wildcards. Nikki Grahame (UK) and Tim Dormer (Australia) joined the game and had immunity for their first week.
- A major twist: Nick and Phil Paquette entered as one HouseGuest—their bodies alternated weekly—so they shared HOHs and eviction votes, with a plan to split the prize if they reached the end.
- The season featured several dramatic moments, including a Fake Double Eviction that led to Kelsey’s temporary exit and later return to the game.

Final stages and outcome
As the end approached, the final four consisted of Nick & Phil, Kelsey, and Tim. Nick & Phil won the first part of the Final Head of Household (HOH) competition, while Kelsey won the second part, and again won the third part to become the final HOH. She chose to evict Tim, sending him out of the game. In a three-finalist jury decision, Nick & Phil won the title with a 7–2 vote from the jury.

In all, Nick & Phil Paquette became the season’s co-winners, sharing the $100,000 prize ($50,000 each), while Kelsey Faith finished as the runner-up.
