Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines
Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP) is a national group for structural engineers in the Philippines. It was formed on September 30, 1961, and is active today. Its headquarters are in Unit 713, 7th Floor, Future Point Plaza Condominium, 112 Panay Avenue, Quezon City. ASEP works to advance structural engineering, uphold ethical standards, and foster national and international collaboration with government, industry, and academia. It helped publish the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) and the referral codes of the Philippine National Building Code. The organization also lobbies for laws at national and local levels to support the profession, and it operates with an international outlook.
Leadership includes President Dr. Rodolfo P. Mendoza Jr. and Immediate Past President Dr. Lessandro E. O. Garciano. ASEP is affiliated with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). For more information, visit aseponline.org.
