Antinisca Cenci, born in 1978 in Noventa Vicentina, Italy, is an Italian equestrian vaulter with Down syndrome who competes in vaulting. She was baptised shortly after birth because doctors thought she wouldn’t survive a cold, but she grew up full of energy. At age 30 she began training in equestrian vaulting as part of an integration program with the ANFFAS center and the La Fenice team. She also works with Inclusion Europe, an organization that fights for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities. In 2023 she participated in Verona Fieracavalli and spoke with Italy’s Disability Minister Alessandra Locatelli. She has been recognized as one of BBC’s 100 Women.
