Sri Venkateswara Ramnarain Ruia Government General Hospital
Sri Venkateswara Ramnarain Ruia Government General Hospital, also known as Ruia Hospital, is in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the largest public hospital in the Rayalaseema region. The hospital has 1,500 beds, 27 operation theatres, 25 intensive care units (ICUs), and 10 medical specialties, and it runs an emergency department. It mainly serves people from several districts in Rayalaseema, as well as Nellore and other parts of Andhra Pradesh. The hospital was founded in 1962 with donations of Rs 5 lakh from Sri Radha Krishna N. Ruia and Rs 15 lakh from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
