Šumná is a small village and municipality in the Znojmo District, South Moravian Region, Czech Republic. It has about 625 residents and covers 11.96 square kilometers, at an elevation of 438 meters. The village is located about 15 km northwest of Znojmo, 62 km southwest of Brno, and 167 km southeast of Prague. It was known as Šumvald until 1949 (German: Schönwald). The postal code is 671 02.
