R. P. Ulaganambi
R. P. Ulaganambi (10 June 1938 – 7 January 2020) was an Indian lawyer and politician from Tamil Nadu. He was born in Ranipet and studied at Don Bosco High School, Pachaiyappa's College, Presidency College, and Madras Law College. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Vellore in 1971 as a DMK candidate. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1971 to 1977, succeeding Kuchelar and later being succeeded by V. Dhandayuthapani. After a disagreement with DMK's leadership, he left the party and joined the Indian National Congress. He died on 7 January 2020 at the age of 81.
