Saint-Christophe-en-Bourbonnais is a small commune in the Allier department in central France, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It used to be called Saint-Christophe until December 31, 2022. The town is about 16 kilometers from Vichy and is near the communes of Billezois, Saint-Prix, Le Breuil, Isserpent, Molles, and Saint-Étienne-de-Vicq.

Geography: The southern part of the commune has rolling hills and valleys, while the northern part is flatter and better for farming. The Mourgon, the main stream, runs about 18 kilometers and separates these two parts.

Population and area: The area is 128.02 square kilometers. In 2023, 442 people lived there, and they are called Christophais. The population density is about 15.8 people per square kilometer. Elevation ranges from 305 to 471 meters, with an average around 350 meters.

Administration: The mayor is Françoise Walraet (2020–2026). Saint-Christophe-en-Bourbonnais is part of the Pays de Lapalisse intercommunality, in the Arrondissement of Vichy and the Canton of Lapalisse. The postal code is 03120 and the INSEE code is 03223.
