Gastroserica stictica is a small beetle in the scarab family found in Laos. Adults are about 7.1 mm long and have an oval shape. The underside and several parts of the head and legs are yellowish-brown, while many other parts of the back are dark brown with a metallic-green shine. The top side is dull and has a mix of long and short hairs. The name stictica comes from Latin, meaning punctate (spotted).
