Glaessnericaris is an extinct genus of lobster-like crustaceans that lived in the Late Triassic, during the Norian stage, in what is now Lombardy, northern Italy. It is the only genus in the family Glaessnericaridae. There are two species: Glaessnericaris macrochela (the type species) and Glaessnericaris dubia, which was previously placed in Protoclytiopsis. Taxonomically, it belongs to the kingdom Animalia, phylum Arthropoda, class Malacostraca, order Decapoda, and suborder Pleocyemata. As a decapod, it was related to modern lobsters and other crustaceans.
