Algrøyna

Algrøyna is an island in Øygarden Municipality, Vestland county, Norway. It covers about 4.9 square kilometers and lies just west of the larger island of Sotra, north of Lokøyna. A series of bridges connect Algrøyna to Sotra, which is connected to the mainland. The highest point is Hillefjellet, a 78-meter hill. In 2019, 386 people lived on the island, most of them along the northern shore in a village area also called Algrøyna.
