Gökçesu is a town in Mengen District, Bolu Province, Turkey. It sits in a forested valley between two mountains, at about 535 meters above sea level. The population is 1,842 (2021). It is 11 kilometers from Mengen and 50 kilometers from Bolu.

Historically, the area was part of the Kingdom of Bithynia until 73 BC, then became part of the Roman and Byzantine Empires. It joined the Ottoman Empire in 1359 and was designated as a township in 1991.
