Alexis Prince
Alexis Prince (born February 5, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays shooting guard for Athinaikos in the Greek League. She is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 178 pounds.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Prince grew up in Orlando and attended Edgewater High School, where she earned top honors, including Miss Florida Basketball and McDonald’s All-American status. She was the MVP of the McDonald’s All-American Game in 2012.
Prince played college basketball at Baylor University from 2012 to 2017. She earned spots on the Big 12 All-Defensive Team (2017) and the Big 12 All-Freshman Team (2013).
In 2017, she was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury with the 29th overall pick (3rd round). Her professional career has taken her to several teams: Phoenix Mercury (2017), Atlanta Dream (2018), Tarbes Gespé Bigorre in France (2018–2019), Chicago Sky (2020), Hatayspor in Turkey (2020–2023), and CB Avenida in Spain (2023–2024). In August 2024, she signed with Elitzur Ramla in Israel for the season. In 2025, she joined Athinaikos in Greece.
Prince has represented the United States in international play, including the 2012 FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship in Puerto Rico. Her career highlights include the McDonald’s All-American Game MVP (2012) and Big 12 honors in college.
