Sydney Max Kelly (27 November 1909 – 22 March 1987) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the VFL. He came from Geelong West, stood about 170 cm tall and weighed 63 kg.

In 1930 he performed well in the VFL seconds and shared the Gardiner Medal with Selwyn Baker. He played on the wing in Geelong’s 1931 premiership team, which led to his promotion to the senior squad that year. He appeared in eight senior games in 1931, all wins. He did not play any senior games in 1932 but played 13 games in 1933 for Geelong.

After leaving Geelong, he played for the second elevens of North Melbourne and Carlton. He helped set up the Geelong Past Players Association and worked as a team selector in the 1950s. He was awarded life membership of the Geelong Football Club in 1950.
