Alethea McGrath
Alethea Ada McGrath (1 June 1920 – 9 February 2016) was an Australian actress, comedian, voice artist and lecturer. Born in Brisbane as Alethca Ada Murphy, she later married Edward William McGrath. She had an acting career from the 1940s to 2010 and was sometimes billed as Alethea Murphy early on. She is best known internationally for playing Jedi Master Jocasta Nu in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. On Australian TV, she played Dot Farrar in Prisoner and had multiple roles in Neighbours (Miss Logan in 1985, Mary Crombie in 1989 and 1991, Lily Madigan in 1998). In film, she appeared as Mrs. Lillie in Romulus, My Father (2007) and Miss Taylor in Knowing (2009). Before acting, she taught drama at Methodist Ladies College in Kew, Melbourne. She died in Melbourne at the age of 95.
