Albert Kuqi
Albert Kuqi (born 14 February 1992) is a Finnish former football forward. He was born in Mikkeli, Finland, is of Kosovo Albanian descent, and is 1.85 meters tall. He is the younger brother of footballers Shefki Kuqi and Njazi Kuqi.
Kuqi’s career in Finland included several clubs. He started at LoPa in 2009, then Viikingit in 2010, with loan spells at PK Keski-Uusimaa and Gnistan that year. He played for Haka from 2011 to 2012, and was loaned to EIF in 2012, where he made 25 appearances and scored 14 goals. He later played for Klubi-04 (2013–2014), Honka (2014), PK-35 (2015), and Vantaan Jalkapalloseura (2016–2017). He scored his first goal for EIF in his debut against FC Espoo with a 25-yard volley.
In September 2025, the District Court of Helsinki sentenced Kuqi to eight years in prison for three aggravated narcotics offences after he and two others transported 14 kilograms of cocaine into Finland in 2024–2025.
