Narsingpura is a Jain community from the Mewar region of Rajasthan. Over the years, many members have moved to Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and more recently Maharashtra. They follow the Digambar Jain tradition, especially the Bispanth branch. Tradition says the community was founded by Acharya Ramasena of the Kashtha Sangh at Narsingpura Patan in Mewar, now Lunada in Udaipur district. The last Bhattaraka of the Kashtha Sangh Naditat Gaccha, Bhattarak Yashkirtijee Maharaj, was ordained in Samvat 1974. His disciples Pandit Raamchandraji and Daadamchandji wrote the community’s history. The Narsingpura community is organized under All India Narsingpura Mahasabha. Kesariaji tirtha is a site of special importance for them.
