Sun Racket is the tenth studio album by the American alternative rock band Throwing Muses. It was released on September 4, 2020, by Fire Records and runs 34 minutes and 28 seconds. The album, produced by Kristin Hersh and Steve Rizzo, was recorded from February to June 2020 and comes seven years after Purgatory/Paradise (2013).

Hersh had been writing songs for Throwing Muses as well as her project 50 Foot Wave, and Sun Racket reflects the heavier rock influence from the latter. She said she only felt inspired to make a new Throwing Muses album once the songs sounded right for the group, even describing some writing as occurring in a fugue state brought on by PTSD, with no memory of the process.

Singles and release timeline:
- Dark Blue, released February 2020
- Bo Diddley Bridge, released July 2020
- Frosting, released August 2020
The album was originally set for May 22 but was delayed to its September release.

Reception was strongly positive. Metacritic shows universal acclaim with an 83/100 score based on five critics. Other aggregators also reflect favorable reception: Album of the Year around 80/100 and AnyDecentMusic? about 7.8/10. Reviewers praised the album’s density, energy, and standout songs, with many noting it as a strong and rewarding return for the band. Critics from AllMusic, Louder Than War, The Arts Desk, Mojo, Uncut, and others gave positive ratings, and Bandcamp named Sun Racket Album of the Day.
