Benjamin René Pierre Cuq, born on 24 November 1974 in Saint-Ouen, France, is a French journalist and writer. He attended a bilingual international school and studied sociology at Saint-Denis University. Cuq began his journalism career at Télé 7 Jours in May 1996 and, in 1999, became deputy editor of the French edition of FHM. He has written for many French magazines and newspapers, including France Dimanche, Ici Paris, Marianne, Télé Star, France Soir, and Le Parisien Capital et Management.

In 2004 he published a biographical book, Queen de A à Z; the first edition sold about 3,000 copies, with a revised edition released in 2005. In September 2011 he became editor and project manager of L'Hebdo des JT for Planète+ (Canal+). Since 2012 he has contributed auto testings to Le Parisien’s weekly supplement. In October 2012 he launched the film magazine See with Anthony Martin and wrote documentaries about French stars. In October 2013 he published Le Livre Noir de Renault (The Black Book of Renault), a critical look at Renault’s history, including Louis Renault’s ties to Hitler and events such as the murder of worker Pierre Overney and the assassination of Renault chairman Georges Besse; the book received four stars in an Amazon poll.

On 1 May 2012, experimental filmmaker Gérard Courant filmed Cuq for his Cinématon collection, making him Cinématon no. 2623.
