Brian Sodeman (born 7 April 1942) is a former Australian politician. He was a Liberal member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 1974 to 1983, representing the Pilbara electorate.

Born in Victoria Park, Perth, he moved to the North West in the 1960s to work as an engineer. He won Pilbara in the 1974 state election, defeating the Labor member Arthur Bickerton and becoming the first non-Labor member there since 1939. In 1977 he increased his margin, defeating Labor candidate Norm Marlborough with 52.8% of the two-party vote. In 1980 his margin fell to 51.6%, making Pilbara a very marginal seat. Sodeman did not contest the 1983 election and retired after almost nine years in office. He was preceded by Arthur Bickerton and succeeded by Pam Buchanan, a Labor candidate who won the seat.
