Airport Law (Kūkō Hō) of Japan sets rules for creating and running airports, and how the costs are shared to support civil aviation. It began as the Airport Development Law (Kūkō Seibi Hō), Law No. 80, enacted on April 20, 1956. The Development Law was greatly revised on June 18, 2008 and renamed the Airport Law. The law is currently in force.
