Addamax
Addamax was an American software company founded on January 13, 1986, in Champaign, Illinois by Peter A. Alsberg. It developed Trusted operating systems based on UNIX System V and BSD UNIX variants. The company also had a sales and development office in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In 1991, Addamax filed a high-profile antitrust lawsuit against the Open Software Foundation, alleging the OSF formed a cartel that controlled UNIX and engaged in monopsony price fixing. The company dissolved on June 1, 1999.
