Abdullah Awad Al Juhany (born January 13, 1976) is a Saudi imam and qari who serves at Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. He is one of the ten imams of the Grand Mosque. He earned a BA in Qur'an from the Islamic University of Madinah and a PhD from Umm al-Qura University in Mecca. Since 2005, he has led the Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan in Mecca, and he was appointed imam of Masjid al-Haram in July 2007. He has also served as imam at Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, as well as Masjid Quba and Masjid Qiblatain. He is Saudi Arabian, follows Islam, and adheres to Hanbali jurisprudence. His recitation is widely recorded and distributed by Muslim communities around the world.
