Michiel Huisman (born 18 July 1981 in Amstelveen, Netherlands) is a Dutch actor, musician and singer-songwriter. He started in music with the Dutch band Fontane, then released solo work including the album Luchtige Verhalen.

Huisman began acting in the Netherlands in the late 1990s with the soap Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden and appeared in Dutch films such as Costa! and Black Book. He later acted in TV and films abroad, including Dalziel and Pascoe (2006), The Young Victoria, and Margot.

He gained international fame for TV roles: Sonny in Treme, and Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones (replacing Ed Skrein and later becoming a series regular). He has also appeared on Nashville and Orphan Black. His film work includes Wild (2014), The Ottoman Lieutenant (2017), The Guernsey Literary and the Potato Peel Pie Society (2018), 2:22 (2017), and Irreplaceable You (2018). He starred in Harley and the Davidsons (2016) and appeared in The Haunting of Hill House (2018). He joined The Flight Attendant (2020) and later starred in Echo 3 (2022).

Huisman comes from a family with a football-playing brother, Dustin Huisman. He enjoys table tennis and was raised Jewish. He is married to Dutch actress Tara Elders, and they have a daughter born in 2007. The couple has lived in New Orleans and now resides in New York City.
