God Mode (video game)
God Mode is a cooperative, arena-style third-person shooter focused on survival. It was developed by Saber Interactive with Old School Games and published by Atlus, using the Saber3D Engine. The game released for Windows via Xbox Live Arcade on April 19, 2013, and for PlayStation Network on April 23, 2013. It’s available on Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and supports single-player and multiplayer modes.
Gameplay centers on the descendant of an ancient god who has been turned mortal by Hades. You and up to three friends (online or local) fight through the Maze of Hades against demons, using firearms and deity-inspired magical attacks to stay alive.
Reception was mixed. Metacritic scores are roughly 58–60/100 across PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Critics praised level design and co-op but criticized technical issues and limited replay value.
