Aaron Pierre (footballer)
Aaron Jordan Pierre (born 17 February 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Eastleigh and the Grenada national team. He was born in Southall, England, and is 1.85 m tall.
Career overview:
Pierre began in the Fulham academy before joining Brentford in 2011. He made his professional debut for Brentford in 2012 in a Football League Trophy match and had loan spells with Cambridge United and Wycombe Wanderers. He joined Wycombe on a permanent basis in 2014, helping them stay in League Two. In 2017 he moved to Northampton Town, where he won the club’s Player of the Year award for 2018–19, before signing for Shrewsbury Town in 2019. He was Shrewsbury’s Player of the Year for 2019–20. After stints with Sutton United and AFC Wimbledon, he re-signed with Shrewsbury Town in 2023 and then extended his deal in 2024. In May 2025 it was announced he would leave Shrewsbury, and he joined Eastleigh in July 2025.
International career:
Pierre represents Grenada at international level, qualifying through his parents. He made his Grenada debut in September 2015 and scored his first international goal in June 2017. He had earned 18 caps and 1 goal for Grenada as of December 2023.
