AMZ Dzik, Polish for “Wild Boar,” is a Polish-made 4.5-tonne infantry mobility vehicle built by AMZ in Kutno. It is designed for patrols, quick intervention, and as an armoured personnel carrier for peacekeeping and policing missions. The vehicle weighs about 4.5 tonnes, is roughly 5.74 meters long, 2.05 meters wide, and 2.16 meters tall, and can carry up to 13 people along with gear. It provides protection against 7.62 mm bullets, has bulletproof windows, puncture‑proof tires, and smoke launchers. Powered by a turbodiesel engine with about 143 hp, it can reach speeds up to 100 km/h and has a range of around 800 km.

There are four variants on the same chassis, including ambulance and anti‑aircraft versions. The Dzik-2 was used by Poland’s Military Police (nicknamed Gucio) and was withdrawn in 2014. The Dzik-3 was designed for the New Iraqi Army and adopted as its basic armoured personnel carrier, with about 600 units ordered in 2006 and the possibility to expand to 1,000 or more.

Operators include Poland, Iraq, Lithuania, and Ukraine. Armament options feature a primary PK machine gun (7.62×51 mm) and an alternative NSV heavy machine gun (12.7 mm).
