Elacatinus pridisi is a goby fish found around Brazil’s Trindade and Martin Vaz islands and nearby seamounts. It was described in 2004 by Guimarães, Gasparini and Rocha. Like other cleaning gobies, it helps remove parasites from other fish. But this species lives with both sponges and the coral Montastrea cavernosa, instead of only coral. It has also been found associated with sea urchins. It belongs to the goby family, Gobiidae.
