AIR is a 2,000-capacity nightclub in Digbeth, Birmingham, England. It started as a spray shop for buses, and in 2000 Godskitchen bought the building and turned it into a club called CODE. In June 2003 CODE closed for a full refit and reopened in September 2003 as AIR. The three rooms—Oxygen Arena, Nitrogen Room, and Carbon Lounge—along with a lowered ceiling in the main room, gave it extra space for music and events. The club is known for its modern lighting and sound, which resident DJ Fergie once praised as among the best.

AIR has hosted Godskitchen on Fridays and other brands such as Helter Skelter, Babooshka, Polysexual, Raveology, Hardcore Til I Die, and Atomic Jam. It sits in Digbeth’s Custard Factory Quarter, near the Custard Factory and the O2 Institute (the former Digbeth Institute).

The venue is owned by Angel Music Group, which had a 20-year lease. Since May 6, 2012, AIR has remained closed due to the decline of the Godskitchen brand and high landlord costs, making it cheaper to stay shut. Angel Music Group ran two outdoor events in the adjacent car park: Godskitchen Afresco in 2010 and Godskitchen SixFiveTwelve in 2012, each drawing 4,000+ people. After that, Godskitchen moved to other venues.

In early 2022, Ravers Reunited announced an event at AIR with Clubland X-Treme on May 1, and later that year announced a New Year’s Eve event, “Ravers Reunited Presents AIR NYE,” with plans for a similar 2023 NYE event.
