The 8mm Roth–Steyr is a military pistol cartridge from Austria-Hungary. It was adopted in 1907 for the Repetierpistole M7, the first self-loading pistol used by a major military power. The round is an 8x18mm, headspacing on the mouth of the case, and it is rimless and straight. Ammunition was usually issued in a distinctive ten-round charger.

Ammunition and use
- The cartridge was used by Austro-Hungarian forces through World War I and into the postwar era in Italy and parts of Eastern Europe.
- Original Austrian production used greased, un-plated steel-jacketed bullets; some private firms made cupro-nickel jackets.
- The ten-round chargers for this ammunition are different from more common handgun mags and can be hard to find today.

Today, the 8mm Roth–Steyr ammunition is rare.
