77 (band)
77 is a hard rock band from Barcelona, Spain, formed in 2006 by brothers Armand Valeta and LG Valeta. The original lineup also included Raw on bass and Dolphin Riot on drums. They released an EP in 2007 and their first full album, 21st Century Rock, in 2009 in Spain through Weight Recordings, followed by extensive European touring.
In 2010 they signed with French label Listenable Records, which re-released 21st Century Rock in other parts of Europe and in Japan. While touring in Sweden, they worked with Nicke Andersson (The Hellacopters), who produced their second album, High Decibels, released in 2011. Their third album, Maximum Rock 'n' Roll, produced by Andersson and Fred Estby, came out in 2013.
In 2014 Raw and Dolphin Riot left; Guillem Martínez and Andy Cobo joined. They signed with Century Media in early 2015 and released their fourth album, Nothing's Gonna Stop Us, later that year, followed by European tours supporting Temple of Rock and Danko Jones. In 2017 Guillem Martínez left and Dani Martin joined on bass. Their fifth album Bright Gloom was released in 2018, and it reached the Spanish album chart, with more touring across Europe.
